krissy + andy – sneak peek. { creative wachusett wedding photographer. }

As some of you know, I have been away visiting family in Vermont and haven’t had a chance to post in a little while.  SO I am making it up to these last few couples – you get a few extra peeks!

These next two (and all their friends + families) braved some “heavy precipitation” to say + witness the “I do”s.  However, the light was PHENOMENAL and we still got some great portrait time in prior to the ceremony.  Another good reason to consider a First Look – if the weather turns sour or sour(er), you may have already had a chance to get a ton of beautiful portraits outside with amazing natural light!

Another great big thank you to Vince for being my support and second shooter again – he captured some great moments including this rainy scene.

Floral magnificence by Seed to Stem.  More on them to come… totally obsessed with everything they created!
These tiny ferns were a fun addition to their bouquets.
After I explained the pros v. cons, they opted for doing a First Look – and it was a great thing they did!  It ended up being very, very wet the rest of the day, so it was really their only chance to get some lovely outdoor portraits (without umbrellas).  So glad they opted to take advantage of doing a First Look!!
Real hops surrounded them at the alter.  And the seemingly dull cement floor became reflective and quite fun with the rain shower.  It felt very romantic and intimate being under that tent with the small group of close friends + family, with the rain pouring down.  Their ceremony was led by their good friend Joe (who happens to be my photo/web friend, too – I took some photos of his soon-to-be-family last year.)  Had he not been asked to be their officiant, he would likely have taken their photos, as he does that primarily (check out his site!)  He helped me change things around here on my blog when I wanted to mix it up – so much fun seeing you in a different role, Joe!  It was an honor to document all the wedding goodness!
More coming on these two … simply Like Ruby Shoes Photography on Facebook to be notified first when the rest of their images area ready!  To view/order any of these photos, head here.
